Mix old and new
When I first got into this hobby I built an Arduino based controller. Used it for a year then jumped into pixels and haven't looked back. This year, however, I'm toying with an idea of using some of my older lights with my old controller just for something a different. When I use to run my arduino controller, I used a usb cable to communicate with it. These days though I'm running everything over a show network, all hardwired. Is it possible to use a Ethernet shield, plug in to my show switch and run the home brew controller? The reason I ask is I'm planning on making the move to a FPP for this years show and would need it to run from the FPP. If so, can anyone point me in the direction of the sketch?

Re: Mix old and new
if you make the move to FPP running on a Pi, you could communicate with your Arduino from one of the USB ports of the Pi.

Re: Mix old and new
I had completely overlooked that option. That makes complete sense. Thank you.
