Default OOps need help with pixels for 24' ChromaFlake

Okay as with may other issues this starting season outside of the cookie cutter LOR world, I made another mistake. I have purchased 8 of the 24' 2 and 3 pronged Chromaflakes. got them in today and as it turns out the 3" spaced bullet nodes are not long enough to span across the pattern without splicing. I really do not want to spice that many times so need to know what type or spacing specifically do 'I need that will work. Assuming j6 would work but would rather hear from what others have used.

You can leave a null pixel in the spaces where you need more than 3 inches. I did this with my chromabulbs.

4" works great. Keep in mind when ordering pixels the spacing quoted often seems to be an average and depending on where the wires enter and exit on any given pixel the spacing changes. I just always order 4" spacing and if there is a little extra wire on some props so be it.

If you're using xlights, you can also model them any way you want, so you could use holes 1,3,5,7 etc going up the flake, then 6,4,2 coming back down....I spliced my first year before the video mapping feature came out of xlights...now it's incredibly simple...just put the lights in however they fit and let xlights map the prop for you!
