Default Replacing A/C channel terminal blocks with plugs

I saw a video of someone installing an SS board in an enclosure, but they had replaced the screw type terminal blocks with plugs. I think each plug had 8 wires so there was a total of 4 plugs or so. Has anyone seen this, and does anyone have an idea of what types of plugs they were and where to get them? Obviously half the plug would be soldered to the board where the terminal blocks normally go.

Do you mean the plugs were directly on the board? Interesting.

Not exactly what I was trying to envision, but a great idea either way.

    Thanks.

Are these what you are looking for. These are 4 Pin, other sizes are available. The trick is the size. These are 5MM, or the space between posts....so need 5mm spacing on circuit board.

I think that's them. Funny that the titles say "4 pin" but the picture for the male shows 3 pin and the picture for the female shows 5! I'm sure they just have the wrong pictures shown. Thanks!

Note: The BOM for the Renard SS boards lists terminals with a 5.08 mm pitch. If you are wanting to substitute the screw terminals on an SS Board with plug-in terminals, you would want find some with a 5.08 mm pitch for best results.

Can this be used on the SS boards? It's really a good idea. Unscrewing 48 connections can be tedious. I did notice they had 14 position ones also.
