    Default 3D star

Does anyone know where I can get a 3D pixel star for my tree topper? Has anyone made something like that and care to share?

Those are both great options, but I'm looking for something more like a 3D spinner.

What would that look like? A 3d spinner? There are some fireworks toppers that have been built. Is that what you are imagining?

I've seen a giant one made of pvc, but can't find that pic. Imagine a normal 2d spinner, then add 2 or 3 more rotated in the 3rd dimension along the y axis.

Several of us have built a "3D spinner" using fish hubs. They are essentially a ball in the middle, with 1/2" PVC coming off of it in all directions. Mine are in the back of the storage box, so does anyone else have a picture of one?

Yep. That is the bad boy. We used 3/4" PEX and then made the ends to fit in the 1/2" PVC holes. Filled the PEX with strips.

After doing those, we decided that attaching the pixels to the PVC (or drilling 12mm holes) would do the trick as well.
