I would be OK with that. Great Lakes Crossing is not far and they have a food court as another option.

I-75 and M-59 is probably a good central point. A lot of places to eat not far from there. There is a Buddy's Pizza at Walton and Squirrel which is near Oakland University?

I'd also be interested in a meetup at some point. I'm a complete beginner in DIY Christmas lights, so it would be cool to talk to some people with experience.

@paudyd I've been to that Buddy's Pizza before, it's pretty good. I live in Burton which is about a 40 minute drive to there, so not bad. (Well, I currently live in Ypsilanti for college but my family's home is in Burton and that is where I will be making and running my display.)

I wouldn't be able to until after April though, which is a little while from now, so if the meetup happens before then that's fine. If there is a meetup sometime during the summer I should be able to make it.

Power is back on (and along with it, the internet). i75/m59 area is fine. I've not heard of the rusty bucket. Other than Easter weekend my social calendar is wide open.

I have been to the Rusty Bucket on Haggerty near 275 and 9mile. It was a good place. I don't know the other one, but I expect it to be good as well. Any Buddy's is always good for good pizza and a beer or two.

In Central Indiana but would consider making the drive north depending on location.

That's funny, I thought about suggesting the Rusty Bucket but thought maybe a noisy pub was not the right choice. I like the place and I would imagine they have a decent burger.

So we need to set a date. Should we say a Saturday afternoon? I am wide open till Easter except March 25. Suggestions?

Drewfus and ChristmasDay - This was to be informal so I hope it is worth the trip
