Default Outdoor rgb soffit thin recessed lights

Wondering if anyone is using outdoor rated rgb thin recessed lights in their soffits? Was thinking of using recessed lights in the soffit to provide wall washing but that could be used year round and blend in. I've seen recessed lighting being used for garage area for normal night lighting and thought that placing them along the front of house soffit would be a good addition to a lighting sequence.

Thought about it too, would not mind even if they had a bit of a bubble to them to have a lens to focus the light more on the side of the house and wash down.

Just have not spent the time looking for them yet. Also thought out some skinny and wider ones to do the same thing, mount them against the fascia to shine back onto the house.

I thought about using something like these, they are deck lights, but would go right into a soffit.

I don't think those would work well as they are such low wattage. I'm thinking it would need to at least 10w and 120 degree beam angle. Maybe something like https://www.amazon.com/12V-5-inch-Re.../dp/B009A02BTY One reviewer has used them outside and has a video

I attached 1 Meter RGB dumb strips to roof drip edge or Steel style D drip edge.

The LEDs are zip tied to the wide part.
On my house I could just force the drip lip under the soffit.
The overhang blocks direct view of the LEDs
