    Rob,
    With the current 100W board, is it possible to unsolder the LED and link it to the board using some cable. If this was advisable, what kind of cable would you use? (I would need the board to be about 4 inches away from the LED

    I did not try it, but I don't see a reason why that would not work

    I am mostly worried about the heat of the LED, melting the wires on the LED side. I remember the picture of the paper that caught fire after a few seconds when you were using it to not go blind :D

    For Canadians struggling to find an enclosure at a reasonable price . I found some at Rona for 7$ .

    The site is having issues it seems for uploads.

    These flood lights are on clearance at Rona currently .

    They are out door and rated at 500w .

    You will need to add your own coolant device .

    There is plenty of room to mod them .

    I didn't find them on the Rona site, nor the price you quoted.

    I've found my box of heat sinks. Now to find the housings.

    plus 3200 lights static display.
    2010 - 6 Snowflakes on heavy equipment stored in front yard :-(
    2011 - 72 channel Megatree 7520 lights,
    120 channel total about 10k lights total

    Those look exactly like the ones I bought about 3 years ago for like $1/each. ☺️. If so, the hole spacing is just off all four corners of the heat plate, so attaching the LED is my biggest issue at the moment. You have any thoughts?
