This struck me funny. One of our two football coaches back in high school was an art teacher!

Nice job all around! My wife picked up the Mickey and Minne blowmolds from Lowes. I was thinking of building a castle to go with them. How big is your castle? Do you have a pattern?

They look good. We might be adding a Grinch to our show this year. What did you use? It looks like it might be plywood - what thickness? If so, did you use a saber saw to cut them out? Or Coro? And special paint? outdoor? How do you support them?

The castle is about 7 feet tall. I used a picture and a projector and traced it.

It is 5/8" plywood for the castle 1/2" for the rest. The peanuts are coro.. I use rebar driven into the ground and attached with hosr clamps on the back. The coro is attached to a pvc frame which is glued to the back using bathroom caulk. I have had trouble with the coro which is why I switched to plywood.

I did a Grinch this year. Here is a the link to another thread. I also talked about using 1/2" conduit for mounting.

Yeah, I have a few Coro cutout props and they are somewhat flimsy. What 'problems" did you have?
