Default HolidayCoro PixNode Strips vx Boscoyo Pixel Strips

I am remaking my Mega tree for next year and I am going to use one of the two pixel strips (Boscoyo or HolidayCoro). I have noticed that everyone I have seen posting info is using the Boscoyo strips but I am wondering if any one is using the HolidayCoro strips? At present my nodes are 2 3/4" apart and going to 3" will make my tree tall enough that attaching the star could be a problem for me. On the other hand I think 2" separation would make the tree too small. The HolidayCoro strips come with a 2 1/2" spacing option and I think this would be a better option for me, but not seeing anyone use their strips has me concerned. Does anyone have experience with the HolidayCoro strips?

HolidayCoro copied Boscoyo strips' original design. Boscoyo is the original developer of the strip.

I know James (Boscoyo) continues to analyze and update the plastic formula as new developments in plastics and longevity data comes in.

James does do custom work. Ask him. He made a custom top plate for me and has done one-off work for lots of people.

I second James at Boscoyo. He did a few custom items for me and if something breaks or there is a defect he will replace it.

I used the Holiday Coro strips for my Mega Tree in 2015. Problems... problems.. and more problems. Nodes kept falling out... Had to ziptie every node in... Bigger and better Mega tree in 2016 using Boscoyo strips. Much better product! Thicker material, nodes fit tight, no issues. I would definitely use the Bsocoyo strips. Maybe the Holiday Coro strips are better now, my bad experience with them was from early 2015. Have never heard a complaint on the Boscoyo product.

This is the reason I don't buy from HolidayCoro as much as possible.

I love my Boscoyo strips. 8-9 months in the beating Florida sun so far and they still hold a pixel like glue.

Boscoyo strips, used them for 3 season and still work great.

I won't get into details, but I won't order from holiday Coro unless it's something I can't get anywhere else
