    #define DC_build 0

    #define CLOCKRATE 18432000
    #define BAUDRATE 57600
    this is straight from the wiki, trying to make baud rate 115200
    If your #define PWM_build 1
    then, #define DC_build 1 This is how it should read.
    That's a feature not a bug.
    There's no charge for that.

    No, it is correct in the wiki. DC_build should only be 1 if you are using a DC setup. if you are using AC it has to be 0. If you are using a DC build then PWM_build has to be 1. If using an AC build, PWM can be 1 or 0 but DC_Build has to be 0.

    If you successfully create the build and flash the pic, did you set the baud rate in Vixen and Windows Device Manager to the correct baud rates? Does it work if you leave it at 57600? Is this a known working controller?

    I agree that the WIKI is correct, but for the DC build you should change both statements to #define PWM_build 1 and the DC_build 1, and CTR_LOCKOUT to 1 as well. It is the only way I can get my Renard 24LV's to work. For the AC build you only need change the baud rate.

    So here is where i stand with my pic prommaing. This is for a renard 24 hc v 3.3 board. It works with the 57600 firmware. I found a .ASM file and a .Hex
    file in the file library. I cannot get either of those to work with the above controller. And yes i am making the needed changes on the output settings in vixen,
    and i change the settings on my computer in device manager. So where do i go from here?

    Can you send me the link of the asm and hex files you are referring to?

    Ok, I just wanted to make sure you were looking at the right firmware. I also took a look at the 115200 firmware and if looks like it should work.
    So, my guess is 1 of 2 things is going on(In no particular order).
    1. Not all settings on your computer are set to 115200.
    2. Something is going wrong in the build/flash phase or

    Here's how I would start tackling each:
    1. Confirm the Renard plugin com port is set to 115200. Confirm in Windows Device Manager, right click the same com port listed in Vixen and confirm the baud rate is also set up for 115200. Reboot the computer, after its up, retry. If this doesn't work I'd continue to #2
    2. Try downloading the 115200 hex and burn it to all the 16f688's on the board. Confirm the baud rates are 115200 in Vixen and Device Manager, reboot and try it. If you're getting nothing, set the Vixen and Device manager baud rates back to 57600. Reboot and retry. If this works, the pics weren't flashed. If it doesn't I'd make sure to plug a strand of lights into channel 1 and see if that goes is constantly on. If so the pic is blank.

    Let me know how you make out up to this point.
