    Default P10 Panel A - Z

Is there a tutorial thread on P10 panels that basically teaches you how to assemble, program and use P10 panels in matrixes? In other words, goes from step 1 thru step xxx to get some panels up and running. When do you need an octoscroller...when do you use a Beagle Bone Black...how do they connect to the Beagle Bone .....etc

Another example would be a Step by Step in building a "Tune To" sign and working it from xlights.

I am totally new to P10 panels, want want to learn more about them.

Agree with lightsonmontague. I built mine this year and spent a lot of time on falcomchristmas.com. I used a Raspberry Pi and one of Ron's Pi Hats to create mine. I don't know XLights but programming was the easy part. I did mine in Vixen and exported the results to FPP format. Falcon Christmas is the way to go there. PM if you have questions.

Thanks...I have been going thru that thread and have found it most useful. I went ahead and built the matrix and have started with the BBB and FPP. Hopefully, this weekend I will be able to setup a sequence in xLights and get it to play on the panels. I am having a blast learning this stuff but let me tell you....doing it at my age is taxing. <G>

I too plan on doing a matrix next year. The links above don't work.

I believe Dirk has a write up here or his site in the wiki for P10.
