    Dan:

I think the first answer is YES. It's not running FFP but it can run a FPP type process or sync to another Player and play the lighting sequence data from internal storage (SD Card).

This is exciting, glad to see you back on DIYC. I'll be happy to beta test your first controllers if you need me. -=Steve

We are happy to announce that the updated, 3rd version of this controller should be shipping in September after completing certification. It will have a number of very helpful features not present on current E1.31 controllers. We want to thank all those that purchased our pre-production "HinksPix" controllers in 2016 so we could test out and make sure that the controller released in 2017 would be 100%.

We'll be releasing them soon. What I can say is that while we did focus on providing improved "technical" functionality that the DIY folks look for, we mainly focused on one thing: Ease Of Use While many people on DIYC may not be facing this issue and can tell the difference between a DMX channel and an RGB channel or universe and IP address, we didn't want customers that didn't want to deal with that complexity to have to worry about it. Or even for that matter - a PC. Our model was the iPhone with their focus on "it just works".
