    Default Mounting PixaBulbs in Pumpkins

I got my PixaBulbs from Todd over the 4th weekend. I designed up a mount base for them so they are easy to attach to foam or real pumpkins. I don't know if they will fit other PixaBulb strands as I only have these to work with.

    3D Print Files: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1666309

I will get the video re-uploaded. Sorry folks.

Hi Wolfie, just wondering if you could re-post the video or photo for me. I'm brainstorming how two things, 1) how to mount a pixabulb in a foam pumpkin and 2) how to mount a foam pumpkin to a pvc pipe arch.

Crud. I thought I had reuploaded that video too. Looked for it in my yt account and its not there. Guess not.

However, I do have a still in my ipernity account:

And the thing on thingiverse is there of course.

As for mounting a pumpkin to an arch, um, you are going to have to throw a bit more info at me. My mind is going in so many different directions trying to suss out what you mean by mounting a pumpkin to an arch. Even a pencil sketch would help. Depending on what you come back with, I might be able to throw a design at you to print.

Came across this poking around in 3D printing as well. Did a pumpkin arch last year using zip ties to fishing line mainly. Was a big PIA and hoping to brain storm something smarter this year.

Had to resize the photo, the fishing line may not be visible.

Hi arw01, I kicked around several ways to attach foam pumpkins to a pvc arch. I'm probably overthinking the whole deal, I sketched up the attached mount that would fit onto a 3/4" pipe and have an interior boss that would accept a mount the pixels inside (similar to the mounts I've seen for the RBL's). I'll sketch it up in Fusion360 and then use a local printer I found on 3DHubs for a test printing.

This will become a 2018 project, I think it's too late for this year.
