Best of luck and hope for a speedy recovery
My GF had some vertebrate fused last year to help fix her back problems. It went well as could be expected she was up and walking pretty much the next day. While she still has pain it's more manageable now but all you have tried is a lot like her they tried everything and nothing worked.
Praying yours goes well and gets you fixed up and out of all the pain you have. We ended up buying one of them fancy Chinese massaging chairs which we both get use out ofhttp://www.usjaclean.com/products/daiwa-legacy they were at the Florida State Fair where we got is for about $3000 we both use it every day.

I am praying for a quick full recovery and that all the pain would be gone after surgery.
I am also praying for a quick recovery for you. I had lower back surgery 3 years ago. Went from being unable to stand to rejoining my bowling team in 7 weeks.

Praying for you.
I had a L5-S1 surgery 9 years ago. I'll second the comments above about the first few days being rough. I used one of the top neurosurgeons in the country and still ended up with a nick in my spinal canal. No nerve damage, but two days of leaking spinal fluid causes the worst headaches you can possibly imagine. I had to lay perfectly flat for 3 days to get it healed. But even with that setback, I was back to work in 10 days with no rehab necessary. I've never been better. Less than a year after the surgery, I was climbing a mountain! That never would have happened before the surgery. It was well worth the temporary healing pain.
