MTC Shingle clip....I designed it using the same 1/2" PVC clip design as the other clips. However, this one slides under your shingle, allows the weight to lay on the roof somewhat, but still allow icicles to hang down.

I can print some out and hang them on my garage, that is if you want them tested in 110+ heat indices. lol

What about rotating the circle that the pixel fits into so the pixel can point towards the audience vs points to the side

Doesn't work that way. The circle is for holding 1/2" PVC perpendicular to the clip. You then attach the pixels to the straight edge.

I'd think it could be adapted to hold the pixel directly, would be less weight on the clips but would require more of them.

Absolutely could. Basically I wanted to attach my lights to the PVC then I can store then that way. From there..just clip..clip done. In the past I used regular shingle clips and just put up with a little sag. I have these clips every 24 inches or so...seems to distribute the weight well.

Yep, last year I put all my leds on 3/4" pvc and then attached small sections of j-channel and hung them on my gutter that way. Not sure what route I am going this year or if i'll even get around to doing pixels for my roofline. Running out of pixels fast and keep adding more and more props.

ALSO, if you're looking for a specially designed clip of some sort, MESSAGE me. I'd be more than happy to work with you to design a specialty clip. If you wanted to test the shingle clip, PM me your mailing address.
