Further to my post the other day about having a story printed in the on-line edition of the local newspaper, the following day we made the front page of the print edition with about a 1/4 page picture of the display with a news story accompanying it. The Nelson Mail newspaper has a circulation of around 14,000 papers per day, and covers the whole district of around 100,000 population.
The day the picture appeared in the paper the traffic at our display jumped up by about 50% that night, and the interest has continued since.
Apologies for the late update, the picture quality, due to the way it was printed made scanning a difficult exercise, and has taken a while to achieve a "reasonable" scan!
Happy New Year everyone :-)
