Can't open sequence, read error
EDIT: fixed it by going back to older version of sequence
I am trying to open a sequence and it gives me a read error every time and closes. It says read error during loading operation: channel data. How do I go about fixing this so I don't lose this sequence?

There is a specific version that changed the way the files is formatted.
The release notes and wiki states that if your sequence was built using an HLS version before XX -- then open it with YY and save it --- then you can use the latest.
Sequences before that specific release (more than 2 years ago) --- HLS version 10 or 11 are the ONLY ones you can't directly switch to the latest release.

My problem was all my files are on a portable hard drive and while I was working on the file it got disconnected. Completely my fault. HLS saved the day by using a file backed up earlier.
