First time walk-through with prop plug

I have been searching for basic instructions to load an EEPROM file to test my E1.31 Bridge V1.3 but can't find any.
Can someone help walk me through this the first time?

I spent hours scouring for those instructions and could not find them anywhere.

One more silly question.
What would be the correct procedure for powering down and unplugging my board so not to have an issue?
My guess would be cut power to the board and then unplug prop plug.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I have just unplugged it, I don't think the bridge has a shutdown function.
