    Default Best way to make faces in preview

    I currently have a running of hls for my christmas show but im currentley wanting to create a halloween show.

    Is there a way to make faces in preview? Whats the best way to do it?

    Preview attempts to mirror your actual display.

    If you are using light strings -- then use a "Custom" preview object.

    Ok so i select custom. Then i go in and draw the faces in the custom box? Just like the face?

    Yes!! It sure is. It has been about 8 months since i have been in hls as well so i lost alot of it too.

    Here is a pic of how it looks laid out in HLS preview:

    Here is a close-up of the mouth outlined in crayon by a 6 year old helper...hehe....he had to color them in.:

    Nailed it! I wondered how to get the 4 different faces and the eyes to show up. What a genius Joe is to create such a software with so much information build into it for free! Thanks Joe.

    Thats to you as well DrNeutron as well for the photos!
    Ill get that build in preview i hope and see if i have any more questions thanks guys!

    I didnt get to mess with it any last night i got two kids under two so the take alot of our time lol.

    How do you put the numbers in the blocks?

    Just type them in, use the arrow keys to move around (makes it easier).
    1st number is group and second number is preview number.
    If you look at my pumpkin outline you will see it is all 1-1 which is group 1 and preview 1. They are all the same as it is one strip of rope light.
