    Moisture? Overvoltage? Not enough sunscreen?

2019 - Just moved into a new home (yet another change of plans). Will be dim but not dark. Too much to do at the new place to leave time for a show.

Curious you should mention failures, I had 2 this season also, and they had only been used 1 season.

Did you do a post-mortem to determine cause of death?

I would suspect a solder blob or a stray wire at the pads. These boards aren't crazy complicated. I get my magnifying glasses on when soldering though because the pads are so close together because of its size and it's EASY to bridge a pad!

When I solder mine up, I place the Data line on the bottom of the board. Makes it a lot easier to avoid solder bridges. I then cover them with 1/2" adhesive lined shrink tube. Can't figure out why they would fail..........

I'll have to take off the adhesive lined heat shrink and see if anything is wrong.
