So reading through 17 pages I thought I would remind everyone RobG has recommended the 24v power supply over the 36v since the sweet spot for voltage will be 28v and the 24v can be turned up to this where the 36v can not be turned down to it.

24v turned up to 28v figuring in 80% rule should be able to run 5-6 floods on an LRS-350-24

Yep, working voltage should be 27V-32V, 28V-30V is the best.

Rob, you mentioned once trying the 50W board in a 20W enclosure. Did you ever have a chance to try it?
    2 x Ren24HC, 3 x SS24 - Random elements (Candy Canes, Presents, Deer, Icicle lights, etc...)
    1 x E682 - Pixabulbs, RGB modules, 10W floods
    1 x F16v2 - 16 Foot 2000 node megaTree, 7 arches, more 10W floods
1 x DIYLED Bridge with 3 pixel extenders, spiral trees, custom wooden tree
2015 Second year - So much work yet to be done...

I know a few others have asks about enclosures for the 50W. I have searched several threads and the ebay links to the recommended enclosures were no longer active. I have never did anything with floods so all of this is new to me. I understand that the 24V power supply turned up to 28V is recommended to power the board.

Can someone provide guidance on an enclosure. There are a ton of options on both ebay and Amazon but I have no clue what to even look for to determine what will work and what won't. I was able to get my name on the most recent list for a few of the 50W boards and trying to prepare with materials etc.

    Some options I have found:

    https://www.amazon.com/LEDMO-Waterpr...ed+flood+light

    https://www.amazon.com/GLW-Security-...ed+flood+light

    https://www.amazon.com/Spotlight-Flo...ed+flood+light

Will any of these options work?? Or does anyone have any active links to an enclosure that will work??

Thanks in advance for your advice/guidance.

  11. Thanks Chris A thanked for this post
