I'd like to thank everyone for their feedback and we are going to go to 3D print with the design and get this project going!

    Thanks,

A mounting grid would be great! The vent is a problem because you can't stack boxes for storage

If the vent was offset to one side then you could stack them w/ a pair facing front to front

The nice thing about a big plastic box is that you can cut a hole anywhere you need it. Someone suggested a chimney vent for the box and that would work and maintain the stackability.

We will be publishing data on heat accumulation inside this enclosure based on 1-4 PSU's at various loads and run times.

When do you think these will be available?

We just completed the final 3D high resolution print and the mold maker is performing some last minute calculations and so it looks like we are a go for the production of the mold this month with mold completion in April. Some pre-production samples in May and production run (if no problems in May/Early June). Into a container for arrival in July I would estimate at this time. I don't expect any longer than August as this would push back our new controller release which is dependant on this new larger enclosure.

Here is what we hope is the final 3D printed enclosure with the longer length, vent, clamps, mounting output hole:

We are currently just working on getting the correct resin to ensure strong outdoor performance in UV and cold temperatures and the final mold made.

Are they deep enough to allow mounting of power supplies in sideways orientation?

Yes, with a 1/8" mounting plate attached to the base and a standard 350w PSU mounted to the mounting plate, there is sufficient space for the top to close.
