    Default SS24 Adapters for CG-2000

I was playing around with this a while back and figured I would revisit it and this is what I came up with. They move the SS24 to the top left corner of the case and give a bit more room for wiring and 4 hole mounting. All you need is four 6-32 screws 3/8 long.

I attached the .stl files if anyone want to make some for themselves. I am waiting on my set to arrive to test. If I had a way to make them I would include them in the kits.

    EDIT: added finished pictures

They will be, and the files are for 3d printing.

I had a friend of mine try to print these but he said when he opened the files the size of the part comes up as only a few millimeters long and it says the part is too small to print. Have you had someone print them for you yet or where did you find the original files? I would love to get some printed for my SS24's.

Do you know what software they used to build the .stl files? Maybe that is the issue?

    Thanks
2014 - pretty basic static display
2015 - lots of Blinky Flashy
    5 x Renard SS24
    2 x Renard SS16 for singing trees
    2 x e682 for around 2000 pixels
2016 - Up to around 12,000 pixels and still wanting more.

I just uploaded the files to shapeways.com.

    The left side dimensions:
    Cm:0.39 x / 0.086 y / 0.932 z
    In:0.154 x / 0.034 y / 0.367 z

    The right side dimensions:
    Cm:0.39 x / 0.086 y / 1.008 z
    In:0.154 x / 0.034 y / 0.397 z

It seems the dimensions are off to me as well.

I just created my own version and uploaded them to shapeways.com. They are being printed and should arrive in 10 days. We'll see how well they came out when they arrive.

Total cost was $10.13 with free shipping. I'll post up the results when they arrive. Here are the drawings for now.

Big thanks to Wayne for the inspiration!!!

    Hi juicedss,

Let us know how they work out. Do you have the .stl files you could share or just the pics? If you have the .stl I can have my friend try to print them for me.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I have the files but I prefer to make sure they fit before sharing them. That's why I ordered a set to make sure they do fit first. They may take a few tweaks if I didn't measure just right.
