Open the sequence in the editor, and then use Export in the sequence menu

    Sparky,

Not to promote another forum on this site as I know many of the same users float between multiple blink-flashy related sites but I found very helpful info over at the Falcon Christmas forums in the Falcon Player section (FPP). That is where I started - well, after this site of course!

Good decision on the FPP,I ran it for the first time this year and it is Fabolous.
As mentioned just export it as a FPP file.

Import your Vixen 3 sequence into Xlights and use the convert tab.
    2009 - 48 channel MegaTree 4800 lights
    plus 3200 lights static display.
2010 - 6 Snowflakes on heavy equipment stored in front yard :-(
    2011 - 72 channel Megatree 7520 lights,
120 channel total about 10k lights total

Last I checked xLights can't import Vixen3 sequences. They may have changed this recently. But to my knowledge, you must use the Vixen 3 export function to convert a Vixen 3 sequence to any other format.

I believe that there is a version of Xlights that is compatible. I don't remember what the version number is. Maybe a search or email to Sean would put you on track.

Another question. Right now one one of my universes has 2 ren32's and a ren24dc. The 2nd ren32 only uses 1 thru 5 the last 12 channels are empty and the rendc is being completely used. I of course have this mapped on vixen 3. Dose the output mapping transfer to falcon when i export the sequence or am i not allowed to skip channels

if it is mapped in Vix on the export, it will transfer into FPP as it is in Vix.

When you're exporting you have the ability to reorder your controllers in the export screen. Just drag them to the order you need.
This will be further improved later this year. We're working with the FPP team on some integration features that will not only export the sequences from vixen but also create the fpp config files and push it all directly to the fpp.
