According to those logs from earlier in December the sound system was running out of memory. It looked like it happened several times. I have not seen that one before, but the scheduler fixes I made would not address that. What are the specs on your machine? How many sequences are you running in the scheduler? Can you get me all of the logs from the logs directory when it happens again. For a crash dump, you can open the task manager and find the Vixen Administration process and right click on it. There is an option for create dump. It will make a big file as it will dump the memory contents for that process. It is best to do that when it hangs or stops functioning before you try to close Vixen or kill it. The dump will be big enough you will have to zip it and put it on dropbox or something. I know it is painful, but if you can get me this stuff it will help me better understand what is going on so I can fix it.

Oops, never had that happen before. Thanks for letting me know, it's cleaned out now.

    Interesting....

I bumped the schedule forward two hours today so I could capture some logs for you but it hasn't hung during the first go thru or ever since tonight which is a first since November. Last night I had inadvertently left the network line in to my home LAN, maybe that contributed to the problem. There's no changes I made other than a windows update that loaded this morning since the LAN was plugged in and the show computer had internet access. It rebooted last night too. I will post all the details you asked for tomorrow morning when I can access the scheduler again.

Jeff, I experienced a hang when the schedule fired up tonight so I captured a dump file....but...erm...it's 1.8GB!. Gig with G!. Is that expected?? I haven't used drop box much yet, but assume that's too much to upload?

    BTW, MERRY CHRISTMAS VIXEN TEAM!!.

Yep that is normal. It is a full application memory dump. You will need Dropbox or something like that. Zip it up and that will compact it a bit.

    Hi:
I gave up on the scheduler. I just load the sequence to be run, click on LOOP, hit F5 and forget about it until shutdown time, which is done manually.

    Merry Christmas.
