Ask and you shall receive! Not a bad little tree made of coro.

The trees are about 12" wide at the base and almost 14" tall with 70 pixel/node holes. I might add some small holes on the bottom so a metal stake can be used to hold them in place.
    What do you think?

    That's awesome James.

Here I can't cut a straight line in coro and in an afternoon you have some fancy trees!! What are your thoughts for completing it, something for the top?

Awesome! Wish I would have thought about those holes for the zip-ties.

I'm filling up 49 holes to make an approximation of a 180 degree pixel tree. The holes in the back are for "future use".

I think made out of metal, they don't need stakes But made out of plastic, they are cheaper, lighter and faster to make. I had to stitch the metal on the bend lines, the plastic just needs a single pass with the router bit.

Just out of curiosity, could this be increased in size to about 24" tall?

I can get them to about 19.5" tall but I go from 8 per sheet to only 4 per sheet. That is adding 3 more rows of lights to make it an even 100 pixels.

19.5" would be just fine. If you ever come up with a cost, please let me (and others) know.

    That will make them perfect.

Thanks for taking the ball and running with it.

Along with a price including the star. I'm interested in this for this if possible for this year and if it isn't I would still be interested for next year.

    Thanks,

    Mike
