All the colors of the raindbow...

Hi Guys,

This year I'm building a Renard so I'm interested in the following...

String Red, Blue, and Green strands across the same area. By using different intensities in vixen, how successful will I be in creating different colors?

I'm likening it to color values in photoshop.
You have RGB 0 - 255. And you can create any color you wish.

Thoughts?

I am building eight different 6-color "branches" with 100 single color minis per string * 6 per "branch". I've experimented a bit with the real thing outside at night and in reality you do not create new colors, but you can create really different "feels" by turning on different color combinations at different intensities.
It's funny because certain combinations instantly bring things to mind (but different to each viewer). Red/gold looks like the Redskins to me while blue/gold is the Rams. Green/white is the local high school and Pink/white is Easter bunny. I tested the family on these and by playing different music/sounds at the same time I can steer what image it brings up to them. Blue/green viewed while hearing James Taylor's "deep greens and blues are the colors I choose" conveys a very different "feel" than viewing the same and hearing bluegrass music. It has been fun trying it.

I does show up in video though. The bushes in front of my house have red and blue on them, in the videos there are times they are purple, and that was using only ON/OFF commands. This year I will be dimming them so I'm anxious to see how the videos turn out.
