I huess those are pretty much the same thing.

Only one HUGE issue is if a pixel fails......

It is the biggest pain in the $%^ of all time.

Plexi is good and easy to work with, but it can be expensive. Depending on thickness you may be able to sand the inside to get a defused/frosted effect rather than paint although painting MAY work. I'd be a little concerned with light transmission though.

I was thinking 1/2" plexiglass cut into a tree pattern. Then, paint the backside white and mount some RGB strips on the bottom. Similar to the Light Saber tree (that I stole from Flannigan on the d-light forums) 2007 True Believer You can barley see them on the far right. They were 1" clear acryllic rods with a firefli in one end and a Mirror at the other end, lol! They were prett cool. Man that video is old.

Or why not wrap a tomato cage (use the cage as a template) with coro with an RGB flood on the inside?

My flourescent paint is already fading, booo!!!!

another option with plexi frosting is to try paint thinner or alcohol, I don't recall which did it, but one of those will frost it instantly

I will get you one tonight. The spotlight is actually unimprtant. The LEDs are too overpowering for the UV to really do anything. If the lights are off, then you can see it. But next year I will just paint them with regular paint. The UV paint just can't handle the sunlight here and they are all fading fast.

Here are the night pictures as requested! one with the UV spots off and one on! The most noticable is the 7th tree from the left.

So I figured I would post a video of the trees in action, watch it in HD if possible.
The New Year's Mix this year! (I think):

There were mini trees in that video? I only saw a Clock matrix.
    Thanks,
