It happens on new sequences and existing ones. Not using profiles. I'd try 2.1.4 but I don't know where to find it, any suggestions? Thanks.

Don't know anything about a 2.1.4. Here is the link to 2.1.1 http://www.vixenlights.com/download/...%202.1.1.0.zip I would have to dig a bit to find the 2.5 installer. I think it came off of a dev page.

2019 - Just moved into a new home (yet another change of plans). Will be dim but not dark. Too much to do at the new place to leave time for a show.

    Also, are you using profiles?
I would highly suggest upgrading to 2.1.4 if you can. Let me know if the updater fails.

I ran this software from 2009 to 2013 before moving to xLights. Check that you have the correct .net framework installed and force the upgrade, if possible. It works perfectly if set up properly. Also make sure that your baud rates match in your harware set up and in Vixen, and they match the baud rates in your controller. I still have 2.1.4 if the upgrade is not available or not posted in the WIKI.
    That's a feature not a bug.
    There's no charge for that.

I had that issue on a fresh install on a new pc and had to find a older version of .net to make it work.

Wow... you get the same thing.
I just learned to live with it but it is annoying. I plan to revamp a lot of stuff this year
