    Default 4amp Triacs

I have some triacs already on hand but they are slightly different than the 511-BTA08-400B and wanted to make sure before I put them on and then have to desolder them later. The mouser part# is 863-2N6075A, they're only rated for 4 amps but I don't think I will go over 2amps. The thing that bothers me the most is the gate trigger voltage is 2.5V instead of 1.5V. Will this or anything else cause a problem with me using these on my SSRs. This forum is great.

Trigger voltage shouldn't be a issue, since the trigger voltage is 5V on all the projects here. Assuming its pin compatible you should be fine. If you are still concerned just solder one is and see how it goes.
