Very nice Bob! Two words...sticky and wiki.
Folks,
I know I scratched my head a few times trying to figure out how to wire up an LEDTriks panel from the verbage and pictures available. I sketched the attached drawing to help me during this phase of construction. Hopefully it will be beneficial to others.

Don
The only thing I see missing is the ground from the external power to the control pc.
Not needed if you are using the same Pc to power the panel

That's an excellent graphic. Thanks for the hard work!
There sure as hell *are* user-serviceable parts inside!
Awesome work Bob!
One thing I would add is a label that says "As viewed from the BACK of the LEDTriks board" so it's clear, and no one wires it backwards.
You do have the LPT Port labeled that way FWIW....
Yes, I'll add that. I want to make sure mine work before putting it on the wiki.
I'm still not sure how the two Triks will line up together so that they will display properly. (I'm still waiting on parts from Ben before I can test them....)
When you flip them over to view, do you flip them vertically or horizonally?
I'm thinking horizonally, but won't know until I test.

The way your document shows is correct for the back view.
When you add the second board, the controller for that board gets set to "2" and you choose weather to make it 1 high x 2 wide or 2 high x 1 wide.
I did mine 1x2, and looking at the back the # 1 controller is on the left, and the # 2 is on the right.
When you look at it from the front, and the text is scrolling from right to left, it's moving from controller / board 1 to controller / board 2.
I'll post some more pics this weekend or early next week - maybe even a video or 2 if I get the time.
Hey Ronp; rlilly,
Now that it's proven, how about canonizing this into the sticky and wiki?
Thanks.

Nice.
I thank my lucky stars that RonP was in my chatroom when I was wiring mine up....
I soldered in my LEDs from right to left figuring that things are reversed when you flip them. I natually assumed that since the leftmost column (when looking at it from the front) was column 1 that this was the first column to be hooked up to the first RJ45 jack.
Thankfully Ron caught me and told me that column 1 was actually on the LEFT side of the BACK of the board. I wouldn't have been the first: I've seen at least 1 YouTube video of someone's board running backward.
