That, is one impressive piece of work! If you put a New Years countdown timer on it, they'll see it in Times Square.

The guy at the store looked at me funny when I asked where the 1/0, 1000ft extension cords were located.

They are all built but were not used this past year. It was a huge let down. I was determined to use V3 and it was just too much for it in its current build. But I did join the development team just to offer my services for load testing. When I put them up in my shop, they are like wall art. All I have to do is turn them on and test. That is 6,048 pixels in a 72x84 configuration at 1" centers. Plus I can load another 4,000 pixels on it with realative ease.

It just got late in the season and I needed the show up and running. We knew it was missing but no one else did. So this 2014 show should be insane with everything being mostly pixel (16k+/-) and RGB's (14k+/-) then the other stuff running traditional Renard SS channels.

All it needs now is an HDMI port!

This is impressive on man fronts - investment, ambition, tenacity, and bandaids!

Is there such a thing as "pixel envy" ?

Nice work. I would have gone batty with all of those. Why not try HLS on it? I would love to see some video.

I have my display setup with both HLS and V3. When it came down to it I preferred the way V3 sequenced. IMO, V3 has a more logical method that was user friendly. It is all about preference. I don't mean that to be disrespectful to HLS in anyway. Joe has done some great stuff that I can't do.

Another way to think about it was I had gotten in too deep and it was too late in the season to start re-sequencing. At some point you have to make a choice and stick with it.

While my show was scaled back this year, it ran very well on V3. I expect the performance bug to be worked out for the 2014 season.

Videos are on youtube under "James70818" just look for the 2013 videos. I think that is most of them.

I would love to see some video as well!

I was wondering if you did any testing with a lower amount of pixels and possibly a higher refresh rate?

And sorry if i missed it, did you seal the pixels in the coro?

    Thank you

    And it is awesome!!!!
