Relay for Life 2008

Well its that time of year, Relay for Life time...

I try to get the word out to as many people as I can,

Relay for Life is a 24 hour event where teams raise money for the Amer. Cancer Society. The community unites for one night and walks and walks and walks. 100% of money raised goes to cancer research and other related services such as getting patients to chemo, wigs, education etc...

My goal this year is to raise $1000 - My main reason to relay is for family members who have lost the battle or are currently fighting. I also secondly walk for myself, as a 11 year survivor.

My mother and grandmother are both current cancer survivors. I hope your team does well and has some good motivation with the blinky flashy at the campsite.

BTW, my mother-in-law works for ACS. Now that we have a 6 month old in the family and our baby sitter is working the night of the relay, looks like we won't be able to participate ourselves this year.
