No need to thank me, just build a twin and I'll pick it upThat's awesome. Can't wait to come and see it.
I wanted to share pictures of the Bethlehem star my son and I made over the weekend. The star was a combination of ideas from Photovor and kychristmas. Photovor's Bethlehem star calculator was an amazing help also... I would have been scratching my head for a while.

The star and support to hold it were bent in some areas by using a heat gun. The support will straddle the peak of my roof and be held in place by 4 sandbags.

Randy,
I am using all LED's this year. I have 32 channels on the tree with two strings per channel. 323 strings of warm whites from Garden Ridge and 16 strands of Purple / 16 strands of Pink (1 pink, 1 purple per channel) that are made by Phillips and bought at Target. The colors are amazing together. The warm whites look like a gold color and they go great with the purple and pink. It really makes for an interesting Mega Tree.
Mega Tree sounds great, I was actually asking about the star.

Randy,
That makes sense since this post is about the star! I just finished posting a picture about my mega tree...sorry. For the star I am using C6 White lights made by December Home and bought at Meijer. The star will have three channels.
