    Default HLS Channel Effect Attributes

    Joe,
By accident I found that you can see the attributes of a given effect on a channel by holding the "shift" key down and hovering over the effect. Are there any other nifty features like this we may not know about?

Side note, Joe can we get a Very Fine Grid? Possibly 50% of Fine. I envision this being helpfull when a user performs a large cut and paste across many channels and time blocks.

There not hidden - they have been talked about in my videos over the months.

When I get my HLS site operational - the NEW training video will again show them all ...

In the meantime, I add it to the "KeyBoard" menu.

    Let me ponder "Very Fine".

I know your joking, But I think in vixen you can do it... it's almost non usable... BUT if there was a very Fine (50% of Fine) this would still be usable and allow for bulk cutting and pasting any smaller may be too much.

Half or a little less than would be nice, it would be good to fit more channels on the screen. I can squeeze 85 channels on now, (spread over two screens) so if I could double it that would give me a full universe on the screen(s) at once.

Also on my screen the current size seams to be hitting a windows/library limitation. As it starting to get a bit glitchy. So performance wise might not be good idea.

Its two screens, (40 inch 1080p Samsung as display one and a 24 inch syncmaster as display 2) with the second display set to be below the first display. Each display is set to 1050 in height giving me an effective screen size of 1900x2100. Before that I had my primary display rotated 90 degrees to give me more depth but the loss of the time scale made that idea unworkable.I have not yet experienced any windows limitations to my clipboard and it sure does speed up some tasks having all those channels displayed at the same time

My issue is mainly to do with scrolling, not so much with the clipboard. Now i am thinking... hls(and all sequencers) needs a physical job wheel
