Default large pixel elements in preview , shortcut

I have a mini mega tree that consists of 1344 pixels. It would be pita to paint all that in preview and needless to say a resource hog at best , so here is what i did.

I painted the first 20 pixels from the first 12 strings to create my tree . this way , while creating my pixel plane effects on rgb channels i could view the outcome in preview .

The preview, imho is really just to verify that your elements work as expected and look good in the specified location. the whistles and bells are better left for the actuall light fixtures and elements themselves.

Performance of hls is seen on the actuall display and your pc's cpu usage.

    Cheers

Can you do a video of how you did this? Are you using RGB channels for the pixels, or pixel planes?
