    Default Mini Train

    I've wanted a train for some time now. Due to several reasons, I'm fabricated a smaller version of a train that most people have. The train travels in an 8' circle. The cars range in size but average around 7" wide by 14 - 18" long. The train is be powered by a wiper motor.

    You must be somewhere warm. Just the right size to put a plastic bubble over it to keep snow off?

    Yes, both snowman and train are quite nice. I too would be interested in hearing how you powered the train ...

    Yup, that's the new and improved version. I hope to get to post some pictures of the origianl pickups and some construction pictures later.

    Here are some pictures of the build:

    These are the trucks I made. They are constructed out of alum bar stock with casters for wheels.

    (since I can't figure how to post pic / works / pic there will be several posts)
