    Question Adjustable Preview Source

Anyone know if the source code for the Adjustable Preview is available anywhere? I really have a strong desire to add more abilities to edit the pixels for a while, such as a line tool, cut paste, inputting specific channel pixel maps from a pre-existing image, etc.

If you have RedGate .NET Reflector or equivalent tool, you can just disassemble any of the plug-ins to generate the source code. This tool will also give you a choice of C#, VB.NET, or some others. There is a free trial:

If that won't do what you need, then someone can probably send you the source. Which version of Vixen and which language do you want it in?

Since KC is providing you the code, I can send you what I have for the Movable Adjustable Preview which is conditionally compiled for 2.1 or 2.5 - That way that feature does not get excluded from your changes. Just PM me your e-mail.

Just a thought,, Is there any way to make a set of lines or pixels rotate say from 0 degrees to 180 degrees in 5 to 10 degree steps for making lights on an angle for mini tress and mega trees

    Mac,

Anything is possible with software. It should be fairly easy, just some basic geometric math.

What I am planning on is a set of basic image editing tools, including a sizable paintbrush, eraser, marquee select, cut copy paste, line tool (with selectable line width), rectangle, circle, polygon, and flood fill. I am also thinking about a way to import and export the image of specific channel to a B&W bitmap.

I also want to make the window that shows up when running the sequence able to move over to a 2nd screen (no promises)

Let me know if you can think of anything else. I will make a new thread when I get started.

Sounds like an Arch shape is desired.

The Vixen 2.x Grid Editor plug-in has a feature similar to that. Even if you don't want to use the rest of the Grid Editor, you could draw the Preview with it, then disable the Grid Editor and use other tools to go from there. The radial feature is described on page 49 of this article:
