    Default Rope lighting /ren8SS enclouser

Was thinking of putting in some landscape lighting(rope lighting along driveway, which will also pull double duty as Christmas lights.

So I was thinking a would burry a ren8SS with the wires , Any ways do you guys have any recommended enclosures that can be burred. I found the below pretty sure home depo has them too. Just want to make sure there is not any better alternative.

Also does any one have a better deal on led rope light

Being in the electrical field I can tell you from experience that you do not want to bury that enclosure. It will leak if you bury it. I would recommend running your cables back to a wall and mount the enclosure above ground.

Yeah i though about that after the fact putting the renSS enclousure on the wall. So it can drain. What about the connection between channle and rope light do you think i should put in in a small box. OR should I use something like a greses cap, to keep water out.

Still debating about using conduit vs direct burial.
