    Default How about this antenna

Would this antenna work for an FM02?

I have the test antenna which does work but I want a little more reach without a lot of effort on my part (I have enough to put together right now)...

    Thanks!

You would need a BNC-SMA (or RP-SMA) adapter and honestly I don't think that would get much more gain than the test antennas. The dipole antenna builds aren't too time consuming but I understand about having other things to do...

    Jason,

I got a clear signal to ~ 300 feed from an FM-02 last year using a Radio Shack telescoping CB antenna. I think I paid $15.99 - I couldn't find the exact on the RS site, so YMMV -- John

I got an SMA to BNC with one of the group buys so that antenna would work for me. Although I agree, the "test" anntenna is going to work really well from my testing.

I've got an FM02 transmitter and I can get out about 500 feet or so with just the test antenna. You may not need any other antenna.
