When you wrap the 100 ct minis fold them in half first. They take the same room on the pvc but if a half string goes out it won't be as noticable.

Hummm .. not sure what or where you got your EMT , but standard 1/2" EMT has around a .04 inch wall thickness which when trying to slip into 3/4 inch ( I.D. ) PVC ... should leave you more than sufficient room . Should have left you with approx 1/8 to 1/16 inch "slip" on room . EMT should have an O.D. of approx .065 to .07 ( Allied Tube in Harvey Il makes a LOT of it and places like Grainger and such carry Allied . )

Correct there is enough room as you stated . . . problem is is when you bend the conduit. Now that slip room is taken up by the bend and the 3/4" thin wall PVC isn't flexible enough to make the bend as well.
Ahhh .. sorry about that . ( as Homer Simpson says ---- "doh" . Brain wasn't functioning and I totally forgot about the bending .
