Default Heatsink question for SSRez and neon owners.

    Hey guys,
I am trying to find out if the SSRez and the SSRneon can use the same heatsink. Would someone who owns both models please verify whether this is possible or not?

    Thanks

Yes you can use the same heatsink. The length and holes won't match up but the same aluminum angle will work just fine.
On a side note I don't use the heatsinks as I plan to never use more than one string of lights per channel and with that light load it's not needed.

So then if I were to make a heatsink with holes spaced for the SSRez it would not work with an SSRneon without modification?

Maybe. They are close and you might be able to make them work. Why not build one as a template, then make a heatsink, then copy the heatsink. Or drill each SSR separately. Or if you have the heatsinks and they are drilled just mark them to the new SSR and redrill.

I have all three PCBs in my hand.

The SSRez (v1.3) do NOT line up with the triacs on the SSRneon G2 or the SSRneon G2-LED.

Because I don't have any of the SSRs.
