i think this would/should work okay. I attended my first video chat last night building/soldering a picaxe board, programming the picaxe and ect. It was great fun and really great to see the people that you have only emailed or forumed with plus it turned out to be great fun. There were folks from east coast all the way to the west coast participating. Plus each of us got to help someone out. For inistance some people were running macs, others on windows of various operating system. While the guy using one mac could not get something to work the other guy on mac was able to help while us windows guys was not able to help but everyone played a part as not everyone had all the answers.

Im +1 also. This is a great idea and I would love to do it. I also being new think I would learn quite a bit seeing hands on or someone actually demonstrate things. Now my wife on the other hand might just have a small stroke if she finds out I want to do this due to the amount of time she thinks I already spend here but she will get over it. So when would this start or how would we get in on this amazing presentation?

Why not Monday or Tuesday? Fridays will mess up movie night.

So we are going to try our first “TheShow” on 6-8-2012 at 6pm -700 or usa az time or Mountain Standard Time \ Pacific Daylight Time. First we will do a making Shared neutral cables and USA ac 110 history. We will follow that up by How to use bbb a quick introduction into the meeting software feature set. Once that’s done we will open up the “OpenRoundTable” for anyone with a webcam and headphones + microphone to discuss whatever you want holiday related. We are going to try to make this a regular date time, so if we don’t get presenters for a given week we will just open up the “OpenRoundTable” for anyone interested.
