Default Would this Antenna work with an FM02?

I've used it with great results for 3 years with my FM25 (1/2 mile, antenna pinned to the 4x10 that covers the steel I beam in the basement (+10' above road grade), moving to an FM02 this year so I can add RDS and cause it's always cool to "build your own!"

I know the FM02 has an SMC connection, and most use BNC, and from what I can find, the only way to go from SMC to F is via BNC, so I know I have those issues to work with...

Well, if it worked with your FM25, it very likely would work with the FM02 -- sounds like all you have to do is work out the connections...

ok, thanks! Just read the the FM02 is very sensitive when it came to antennas, to the point you can burn it out, so I wanted to be sure!

As with any radio transmitter, if you power up an FM02 without an antenna, you can burn it out. Ramsey, EDM, VASTELEC, one of your own creation -- there needs to be a load on the antenna connector or you will release the magic smoke. I don't believe the FM02 is any more or less sensitive than any other transmitter.

Ok just didn't want you to buy the wrong connector/adaptor since the is a smc type.
