What is the proper pin arrangment to connect the dongle to the controller?

    Hi,
There is a wiki page for the DC24 here. The RJ45 pinout for the DMX input is here.

Well, that's a new one on me ... had never heard of these guys before.

Anyway, the RPM dongle is going to send out DMX on Pins 1 and 2 of the RJ45. The basic question is, "Where does the dc24 receive DMX?"

The phrase "Light-o-Rama" is used on this device's sales page; LOR uses Pins 5 and 6 (I believe ... or is it Pins 4 and 5?) for DMX.

You'll need to ask the AVD guys where their DMX input is on those RJ45 connectors. If it is anywhere but Pins 1 and 2, you'll need to build a conversion cable.

The DC24 uses the standard ESTA (Plasa) RJ45 pinout.

    1: D+
    2: D-
    7+8: Common
