So, can anyone tell me what is in the water?? Seems this last week, there has been more rudeness than in the past year!

It depends. Around these parts not a lot, because we collect rain water off the roof. So other than perhaps a bit of bird poop, we don't' have to contend with any nasty chemicals. The UV filters do a good job of sorting out anything thats alive, by frying their reproductive abilities.

It could also be something to do with it being a Perigee Full Moon tonight and not the water at all. The moon will appear 14% bigger tonight than normal. The word 'Lunatic' is actually derived ( in Latin ) from the same word for moon ( lunar ..

Another thing, is weeds. Not sure if you have sprayed weeds, but if you have, what you'll know is that you might kill the old ones, but almost straight away new weeds which you struggle to recognize establish themselves. Sometimes I wonder if you are better leaving the old ones in place. At least you know where the prickles will be..

My plan is to just cut the tube, repair the joint, and reseal. And yes, I know how to solder, I remember reading a post on how to make this exact repair some time ago but there was no discussion on removing the sleeve. SOMEONE is putting these strips into the tubes, Ray Wu is even selling rolls of tubing http://www.aliexpress.com/fm-store/7...-optional.html. But it's probably being performed by some Rube Goldberg machine at the factory.

What is the IP rating with these tubes? I'm looking to achieve IP68 for use in the pool. My LED strips aren't bought yet, I'm looking to see if maybe it would be more affordable to order bare RGB strips and the tubing separately.
