I have a project using the PIC18F2525 @40Mhz (4xPLL w/10Mhz Osc) that is DMX only - will your code compile to that? If so it would be a great plan B for my poor coding attempts...

Have not tried any code at 40mhz,, only 32mhz,,, it may work, not sure at the moment, it should compile though.

In theory it's a single line change, compile, burn. Move on to the next device.
If it works, that's OK for me.

All I lack is to finish but I've been busy. Not all channels are used.

It should work. Given the numbers, it should calculate the SPBRG value to be '9'.

Drop me a line If you want to share your existing code, I can review the differences.

Youth group production this weekend. Tech rehearsal tomorrow, dress rehearsal, then .. "on stage".

Hoping to use FAST tubes, and ACL strobes as part of the transformation sequence.. but we're so far behind I hate to add the burden to my lighting designer. So, looks like Vixen may be part of the solution as well... even though I designed the rose to work as part of the DMX chain in the theatre. Oh well.. still plenty of other tasks to work on.

(back to the topic at hand)
Code clean-up .. can't recall what is/was needed, but I won't be looking at it until next week at the earliest.

LabRat's Beta DMX code for the Simple Renard's will be available this weekend for folks to check it out, just cleaning it up a bit and I will post it very soon.
