I want to get a few pixels each of various types...

I'm looking at writing some pixel control on the Arduino (at least initially), and I would like to accumulate a few pixels (eg: 5-10) each for a variety of pixel chip types, for testing.

I'll probably order a bunch more of some type which works well (well, what my budget calls a bunch, but in the low three digits this year). I'm holding off some until I confirm which ones I can control (the TLS3001 is my tentative first choice, but one of the 12V chips is also interesting).

Anyway - any ideas how to get a few pixels here and there, without getting bankrupted by minimum counts or the postage? Do you have some spares I could buy from you?

I may have a few extra TM1809 strip pixels after I start building my vertical poles. but it might be a few weeks/months before I get to it....

I might be able to spare a couple 3001s too, but I'm just not sure yet. Like Mark, it might be a while. I have an order in transit of some nodes I had specially made. I bought about 35 extras and might be able to part with a couple if I don't find a use for them along the way. I'll keep this in mind and let you know.

OK, thanks, folks. I'll probably still be looking for some while - things are not moving fast here.

In a perfect world, I'd just order strings of everything - but I'm on a budget, so collecting a few pixels here and there will be handy.

I'd like to try controlling various of them with the Arduino - and based on that I need to decide what to spend my budget on!
