Vixen 2.1 Mega Tree RGB Profile maker

Since I saw the RGB sequencer idea of Sean, my interest for me trees started growing. One thing that came to my mind was, what was going to happen when he fisnishes his effects; I dont have profiles or adjustable previews for Mega Trees (never done a MT before). If you want a tree with 16 trings 42 pixels, 3 colors, the channel count grows quickly (2016 channels in this sample). Its not an easy task to create 2016 channels on Vixen by hand.

For this reason I created a small tool that will create a profile and a Matrix Adjustable preview for your new MT. The output of the tool is an XML Vixen profile (*.pro)

It has an input for number of strings and number of pixels by string. A selection for the type of construction: Bottom to Top, Up/Down - Next and Up/Down -180.

Excellent tool - nice and simple to use - one question though - where were you last year?!

You can have multiple adjustable windows per profile/sequence so this can be a quick way to display your tree as well as the rest of your setup.

Awesome time saver - thanks for the tool.
How hard would it be to define the start channel of the mega tree to paste this into existing profiles ?
For instance if my tree started on channel 1000.
Or is there another short cut I am missing to sync it up to existing profiles ?

Not sure, I will need to review a 2.5 profile and see if its the same as in 2.1. Will let you know later.

I have released a new version with some of the suggestions. Now it generates for Vixen 2.5 and you can enter the starting channel number (still in testing).

I added an extra input field for the starting channel. This is still on testing. Looks like there is some issues if you try to import as it is to Vixen, but the intended purpose is to copy/paste into your existing profile XML.
