Ali express 10w dmx flood

Has anyone experienced this item?

The questions I have are:
1) power- will a computer power supply work?
2) Ali express items--do they come with pinouts? In the picture it appears brown / purple are power, ideas of which is anode?
3) appears in the picture that black / blue are dmx in, ideas of which are dmx- and dmx+? There does not seem to be a common wire attached, thought dmx required data-, data+, common. Am I mistaken?

Any thoughts on Ali express items in general....as in, take it apart right away and check for solder breaks/ bad seals/ strange insects?

I bought a listeroid engine from India, was told at the freight depo to burn the shipping crate IMMEDIATELY, as there have been....odd things....found in the dark recesses....

I am working with the 30 watt version of those from Ray. They're pretty straight forward, supply the dc voltage and then the DMX +/- and ground. Built like a friggin tank too, quite happy with them so far.

You do need the programmer Jerry mentioned or you can have Ray set them for the addresses you want. Simple addressing, just three channels per unit, no special functions like strobe, etc built in.

As for power, a PC supply might work but I'd recommend a good MeanWell supply instead.

you may not need the dmx address writer, prior to order, you can ask ray to set it for you. (however, sometimes the people who write it just dont get it right)

Red: VDD+ 12v
BlackGnd
Blue: DMX+
Green DMX-
Ash Gray Gnd

as for the 30w dmx flood label on them
Red: VDD+ 24v
Black:Gnd
Yellow: DMX+
Blue: DMX-
Green: Gnd
